Created in 1947 by Rose Repetto, the brand originally specialised in ballet shoes. The simple, elegant styling of its shoes have, however, quickly made their way into fashion, with many celebrated designers adapting the shoes for the urban grind (Kenzo, Issey Miyake and Comme des Garcons to name just a few).
